Objectives :
1)To inculcate among students a flair for the language and enhance their Literary skills.
2)To induce reading habit in students.
3)To encourage students to become orators and display their intellectual, independent thinking skills and also to imbibe a sense of confidence.
4)To provide a platform for depending events. It is not a competition, it is an activity. Department of English inaugurated ‘English literary club' in school on 23rd of July 2021. The program started with a prayer song. The school staff welcomed the gathering. Program coordinator spoke on the importance of English and the need of communicative skills in English. The literary club was conducted to entice the young minds to acquire learning skills, understanding of words of insight and to accomplish various co-scholastic areas of interest and excellence. The program was conducted in school premises, children from classes 1 to 10 actively participated, even the parents accompanied children and encouraged them. Post program, Feedback was collected from all the students are parents shared their opinions and provided valuable suggestions in the form and gave the star ratings. Program was organised grade wise to induce reading habits in students.
